[br][br]Darla Roylene (Williams) McKee passed away at home on Saturday, August 8th, 2015. Darla married her loving husband, Brian McKee, on August 14th, 2004. She was an active member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, and currently served as the Deacon Moderator. Darla was always willing to help out with whatever project was at hand. Her only questions were, "what do you need done, and what time do you want me there?." She will be sorely missed by her church family, who loved and cherished her.
Darla enjoyed Fantasy Football, gardening, reading, fishing with her husband Brian, and learning how to make jam and can fruit from her mother-in-law Earline McKee. Darla was a big help in watching over Earline, and Earline in turn watched over Darla.
She is survived by her children (from her previous marriage) Brandy, Adam (Natalie), and Josh, grandsons Gavin and Greyson, her mom and dad Darlene Sligar and Leonard Bright, and sisters Shawna and "Little".

A free spirit, who cared deeply and loved fiercely, Eric Lyle Davidow was called Home on August 12, 2015. Born in Kalispell Montana on December 6, 1978, he walked this earth with us for 36 years. He was so many things to so many people; a son, a brother, a father, and a friend. His compassion and loyalty made him a true friend, and a kind and wonderful companion. He loved an outdoor adventure, hunting, fishing, or camping. On a baseball diamond or at a poker table, he loved to play, and to win. He loved to celebrate his teams, the Broncos, the Blackhawks, and the Rockies. Eric was a University High School alumni, class of 1997, and graduated from Spokane Valley Alternative High School in 1999. Eric followed the inspiration of his grandmothers and in 2001 he earned his Culinary Arts degree from SCC, using his expertise in kitchens from Minneapolis to Spokane, putting love into each dish he created. His presence will be missed by his many family and friends, his parents, Frank and Debbie Davidow, brother Steve Davidow, sister in law, Annette Davidow, nieces, Sylvia, Mary and Claire, and nephew Paul, brother Mark Davidow, and Mark's girlfriend Jessica Tweeten, aunts and uncles Kim and Jesse Jones, Ted and Lecretia Mikita, Richard and Cassandra Mikita, Tim and Carla Mikita, Tony Mikita, Bonnie Bressmer, Terry and Clay Loving, Holly Mikita, Mike and Fern Satori, Cliff and Cindy Davidow, Vicky and Mike Wood, and numerous cousins. Eric joins his brother Nick, infant daughter Jadyn, and his grandparents Ted and Shirley Mikita, Bob and Eileen Noland, and Frank Davidow Sr., who walked the road to Home ahead of him. [br][br]Doug a member of the Quiet Birdmen has "Gone West".
Doug was born and raised in Spokane, WA. He graduated from Washington State University and received his MBA from Santa Clara University. He worked at Westinghouse, NASA, and Northrop Grumman. Amongst working on some amazing and interesting programs with the above, Doug had many passions. His number one was aviation and was part of a select group of pilots who flew WWII Trainers, P51 Mustangs and a TBM Avenger. He also loved reading and tinkering with anything that had moving parts. He was involved in many organizations serving as a Hollister Airport Advisory Commissioner, Board member of Frazier Lake Airport, Comstock Mutual Water Company and QM-Corp Lodges; just to name a few.
Doug was unexpectedly taken away from us on August 6, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife Gayle, sons John "Doug" and Todd, grandchildren Bradley and Riley, stepchildren Kyle and Julia, sister Judi (Edd) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and sibling-in-laws in California and Washington.

JERSILD, DAVID J
[br][br]Dave passed away August 16, 2015 in Modesto, California. He was born January 1, 1945 in Spokane, Washington to Peter and Florence (Nordlund) Jersild. Ten minutes after he was born, he was followed by his twin brother, Don. They have the distinction of being the first babies born in Spokane in 1945. He is survived by his wife Linda (Goodell) Jersild, his daughters Shannon (Richard) Applegate, Shelley (Andy) Roden, and Denise (Richard) Hull, and his grandsons Christian Applegate and Logan Hull. He is also survived by his siblings Don (Cindy) Jersild, Ruth Douglas, and Elice (Doug) McDonald, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Helen, and four grandbabies born directly into heaven. A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Grace Community Church in Manteca. The address is 1505 Moffat Blvd in Manteca, CA. The burial will take place on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park located at 900 Santa Fe Ave in Hughson, CA. [br][br]Gary Peter Floan
Gary Peter Floan was born August 19th, 1940 and died March 9, 2015 at the age of 74. He was a star that burned bright. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle M Floan; his son, Erik M Floan; his grandson, Derek A B Floan; and his son-in-law, Anthony M Nakane, and his extensive family.
As a young child, Gary P Floan took to sports after an injury at 5 years of age left him in a cast for a year. He broke his hip and it wasn't healing properly so eventually his father, Leonard K Floan, requested that the cast be removed. One might say that it was a miracle that after the cast was removed, his hip healed completely and my father went outside and began practicing the sports that he loved. Unknown to most, even his closest friends, the first sport my father began with was gymnastics. He worked out with a college student on the trampoline. I learned about his tumbling one day when we were at our friends, the Milot's pool, and my father started doing flips off the diving board. He explained where he learned these magic tricks.
My father was an exceptional athlete. He was a football quarterback and received offers to play quarterback in college. He was a pitcher on the baseball team. He played basketball, which he eventually played at the University of Idaho, as well as golf. He is known most for golf and basketball in the community of Spokane. I grew up with my father gracing the sports pages in the summer. When my father fell down the stairs 1993 and got a head injury, the Spokesman Review wrote an article about Gary P Floan being the most dominant athlete in his sport winning over 100 golf tournaments in the area.
Aside from sports, my father also loved to dance and earned the nickname,"Twinkletoes"; and he loved a good party. While in college, Gary visited the University of Washington to play basketball against their team. He found himself at the Greek house Phi Gamma Delta, which he was a member of at the University of Idaho, and made friends with the singing group, "The Brother's 4." Later that night, they found themselves at a tattoo parlor each of them getting Woody the Woodpecker tattoos and Phi Gamma Delta tattoos.
Also, while in college Gary met his wife, Janice Kay Floan, at a dance. It was a fundraiser, and he continued to pay money to her for dance after dance until she agreed to a date. They married a couple years later and Gary P Floan began playing on the PGA tour. Unfortunately, in the 1960's the PGA tour didn't pay the kind of money it does today, and eventually Gary P Floan returned to amateur golf, and opened his first business, The Alley, a bar in Moscow Idaho. He ran it for several years, eventually selling it and moving to Spokane where he started another bar; and he began a lumber business that was successful until he sold it in the early 1990's.
Gary P Floan did not want to travel while raising children, so the new business' provided the life he hoped to raise his kids. Family was Gary P Floan's main priority. Gary never missed any of his children's events. Growing up with Gary P Floan as a father was a gift. I never remember him saying an unkind word to me my entire childhood. He was a positive person that believed in logic and kindness in regards to parenting and life.
