[br][br]Louise, our beloved mother, grandmother, twin sister and best friend passed away on April 20th. She was born in Spokane to Keith and Colleen Pease, proud to be the older of their two children by 7 minutes. Louise graduated from John Rogers High School in 1965. She was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and dedicated Salvation Army volunteer. Louise married the love of her life, John Dubay, in 1985 and traveled extensively with him as he completed his Naval career. They had several years of wedded bliss before his untimely death in 2001. Louise will be dearly missed by her son Keith (Jodi) and their two daughters Brianna and Courtney of Spokane; son Don (Jennifer) and their five daughters Stephanie, Samantha, Katelyn, Jessica and Brittney of Marysville; her twin brother and best friends Richard (June); her adopted mom Ruby and many friends and extended family members. There will be a celebration of Life memorial service at the Salvation Army chapel, 222 E. Indiana Avenue, Spokane, WA 99207, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23rd. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to SpokAnimal, Disabled American Veterans or the Salvation Army. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Deaconess ICU staff.

Sharon Cecelia Mata of Sequim, Washington, was 5 days shy of her 81st birthday when she passed away on April 24, 2015 from complications related to pneumonia. Her family was at her side. She was born on April 29, 1934 in Kenmare, North Dakota, to Matthew and Eva Mellon. Her sisters Patricia Disciascio and Colleen Henderson preceded her in death. Sharon attended Rogers High School in Spokane, Washington. She was married in 1962 to Rich McDonald and later married Ted Mata in 2001. She worked for various companies as a secretary until she retired and moved to Sequim, Washington with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Ted Mata, her daughter, Lisa Curran, her son, Lane (Shelley) McDonald, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her sweet dog, Murrey. A memorial service will be held May 16th, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Opportunity Baptist Church at 13620 E. Broadway Ave, Spokane Valley, WA.

Madison Taylor Compton was a loving, kind, and compassionate young woman. Sadly, she was only given 18 short years on this earth; she was born August 23, 1996 and tragically taken from us on May 11, 2015. Maddie was a bright young woman in many ways and she had a few things she loved above all others: her mom, her family, cars and animals. Madison was extremely excited for her promising future as an auto-mechanic and was close to finishing her degree and certifications from Universal Technical Institute as an excellent student. She was highly motivated and worked hard at a job on top of her schooling. She was blessed with many good friends, whom she loved and cared for deeply. Being an only child, she considered them her family. At home she was her mother's best friend, heart, soul, and whole world. Madison was a generous daughter who always took the time to be helpful and thoughtful, and always made sure her mom was taken care of. She could always make you laugh and enjoy life with her because her exuberance and passion were contagious. Without her, there will forever be a hole in our hearts, as we are now missing a vital piece to our world. Madison is survived by her mother Christina Compton and the rest of her immediate family. There will never be a day that goes by that we will not think of you, miss you and love you Madison, now and forever.

Margaret Louise (Lybecker) Swanson died May 11, 2015 in Pullman. Margaret was born April 3, 1924 in Anatone, WA to Gus and Bess Lybecker. The family moved to Pomeroy, WA where she graduated from high school in 1942. Margaret attended Washington State College graduating with a B.S. in Home Economics in 1948. She and Jay P. Swanson were married later that year on August 28, 1948. Margaret worked for the state extension office at WSU, as a reporter for the Spokane Daily Chronicle and as a homemaker. She was a past president of the Pullman Women's Golf Club; past president of the Whitman County Republican Women, a precinct committee person and an Election Boards coordinator; past president of the United Methodist Women and also of Exodus. She also served as president of the WSU Home Economics Association. She was a long time member of Simpson United Methodist Church and loved to play golf and bridge. The early passing of her husband Jay in 1963 left her to raise 4 children aged 3-13. She is preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Davis and brother Norman Lybecker. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Swanson (Wane Salisbury), Cary Swanson, Nils Swanson (Sue), Eric Swanson (Cindy Yurth) and seven grandchildren. The family extends a note of gratitude to Lorna Shampole and her staff at Glen Haven adult homes in Pullman for taking wonderful care of Margaret over the past few years. Celebration of life service to be held June 6, 3:00 p.m at the Flour Mill, Pataha WA.
